Financial planning that connects the pieces.
Taxes, retirement, investments, cash flow, and family priorities all affect one another. We bring them into one clear plan, help you decide what to do next, and adjust as life changes.

We start with your goals and the decisions in front of you. Your written plan brings the relevant pieces together, then turns them into priorities you can act on.
Cash flow and debt
What is coming in, what is going out, and which tradeoffs support your life now and later?
Taxes
Coordinate tax decisions across saving, investing, retirement income, equity compensation, and rental property.
Retirement and goals
Test when and how work could become optional, and plan for education, major purchases, and giving.
Investments
Align your accounts, risk, and allocation with the purpose and timing of your money.
Protection
Review insurance, reserves, and major risks so a setback does not quietly derail the plan.
Estate and legacy
Review beneficiaries, documents, and the people or causes you want to support; coordinate legal work with your attorney.
A single decision can affect five parts of your plan.
We work through the tradeoffs together, rather than treating every account or question in isolation. Open a question to see what a coordinated review might examine.
Can we retire earlier than we planned?
We would examine spending, income sources, taxes, healthcare, investment risk, and what happens if the timeline changes. The result is a clearer set of choices, not a promise about returns.
Can we buy another rental property?
We would connect expected cash flow, financing, reserves, taxes, insurance, concentration risk, and your long-term goals before looking at the next purchase.
Would a Roth conversion make sense this year?
We would compare your current and expected future tax picture, cash available to pay tax, retirement income, and other events that may affect the decision.

Questions we hear about financial planning
Do we have to move our investments to KLD to get a plan?
No. Ongoing planning has its own fee and can be provided without investment management. We will discuss any investment recommendations and the scope of our work before you decide.
How often will we meet?
Our ongoing planning process uses seasonal reviews focused on taxes and income, goals and cash flow, protection, and year-end decisions. Your specific meeting schedule and scope are set in your agreement.
Is tax return preparation included?
It is included with an ongoing planning subscription or when KLD manages at least $500,000 on the investment platform. Eligibility and the returns covered are confirmed in your written agreement.
Can we keep working with our CPA or attorney?
Yes. We can coordinate planning recommendations with your tax or legal professionals when appropriate. Legal documents and advice remain the attorney's responsibility.
What if we only need help with one question?
Hourly planning is available for defined, limited-scope work at $194.90 per hour. We agree on the scope separately in writing.
What happens in the initial interview?
We talk about what brought you here, the decisions you face, and how KLD works. We also answer your questions so both sides can decide whether it makes sense to continue.
Let's put the pieces together.
Bring the questions you are asking now. We will help you understand whether ongoing planning, focused advice, or another next step makes sense.
