✅ Who I Work Best With
I partner with clients who are serious about building a meaningful financial life—not just a portfolio. If this sounds like you, we may be a great fit:
You’re a Gen X or Millennial couple juggling work, family, and everything in between.
You’re raising kids, saving for college, and still trying to carve out space for your own dreams.
Your household income is $150,000+ and growing.
You want to enjoy life now and later—travel, experiences, and memories matter as much as money.
You value simplicity and clarity—no jargon, no sales pitch.
You care about alignment—your finances should reflect your values, not just your returns.
❌ Who I’m Not the Right Fit For
I want to make sure I’m a good match for your time and mine. That’s why I’m upfront about who I don’t work best with:
You’re looking for a stock picker or market timer.
You’re seeking free advice without commitment.
You want to “set it and forget it.”
You’re only interested in quick wins.
You prefer commission-based advisors or product sales.
You’re not open to values-based conversations.
If that’s not you, keep reading.

David Wiedmeyer, CFP®
Owner | Fiduciary Financial Planner
I help families confidently navigate financial decisions, ensuring they have the freedom to live life on their terms—especially in retirement. I believe retirement isn’t an end but a gateway to doing what you want, when you want.
With a Bachelor’s in Finance from Miami University and a Master’s in Personal Financial Planning from Kansas State University, I’ve built my career on personalized, values-based financial planning. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, I’m committed to strategies that align with each client’s goals.
Outside of work, I’m a lifelong baseball fan and player, sharing my love for the game with my wife, Kelly, and daughters, Lily and Delilah. I dream of coaching one day, and I’m also an avid MMA, wrestling, and football fan.
With me, financial planning goes beyond spreadsheets—it’s about building a secure future while enjoying the journey.

Get started in 3 easy steps
-
Our initial meeting is all about you, your goals, and your questions, so that we can determine if we are potentially a good fit.
-
I will create a personalized, high-level overview for you so that you can get a feel for the process. Whether we work together or part as friends, this overview will be yours.
-
We review your planning overview and discuss how you can start focusing on your ideal retirement lifestyle and worry less about your finances. This is a NO PRESSURE meeting. No sales pitch, no commitments.
-
During your strategy session we will complete your planning overview including opportunities to achieve your goals and dreams. I will not ask you to decide then and there. The goal is to take the evening and decide if the results are what you want.
We schedule a quick meeting for the next day to see if you have any questions and see if you want to get started.
Either way, the plan is yours. No strings attached.
